The Hellenic Society of Fertility & Sterility (HSFS) was founded in 1969 in Athens and is a member of the International Federation of Fertility Societies (IFFS). HSFS is a non-profit scientific society focused on human reproduction, while its goals are:

• Organization of scientific meetings, symposia and conferences, as well as the Panhellenic Congress of Fertility & Sterility, which consists the leading scientific expression of the HSFS and is organized every 3 years.
• The harmonious cooperation with other International and European related scientific societies (ESHRE, ASRM, e.t.c.).
• Publication of guidelines and recommendations of good clinical practice of Assisted Reproduction Techniques.
